The Zero Waste Project, which aims to utilize resources more efficiently, prevent and/or minimize waste and waste generation by reviewing the causes of waste generation, and collect and recycle waste separately at its source, is carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
Implemented in 2017, the Project is also adopted by accommodation facilities. By the end of 2022, the transition to Zero Waste Management System principles and practices will be completed throughout Türkiye. Detailed information can be foundhere.
